Can 8-tracks be far behind...?

I just read an article earlier today that stated vinyl record sales rose every year for the past five years.
Can 8-tracks be far behind?

    I'd really like it to happen.
    Unfortunately, half the people don't have a clue about them and the other half are "audio purists" that have nothing good to say about the format.

    Yeah, sadly I fully agree with you. People want spotless sound from their music nowadays.
